Sunshine Committee: A huge thank-you to Cale’s Towing and Recovery. He helped get one of our stuck groomers free.

Trail Committee: Chad read a letter from Jeff E. who could not be present at the meeting. We have logged over 100 groomer hours already. #2 tractor had some gelling issues. #3 is running good. New fuel filters were purchased to have on hand. The club is always looking for volunteers to groom. Our experienced groomers will teach you. Discussion on purchasing a new module for the groomers to give them more power and better fuel efficiency. The club will purchase one module to try it out. If it helps, the club will purchase a second one. Motion to purchase a module by Jim F., seconded by Greg R. All in favor. Skip will contact Justin E. and let him know to go ahead and purchase the module. Our clubs groomer assisted the Kansasville FD involving a snowmobile accident. It is recommended that each groomer be equipped with a basic tool box, tow straps, chains and a fire extinguisher. Members gave suggestions on how and where to place the items on the groomers. We will continue to pursue this and equip our groomers with the necessary equipment. Discussion on supplemental grooming. Every club in the county needs to submit for this in order to get reimbursed.

Alliance: Darren S. reported that Winterfest was a huge success. All raffle tickets were sold. A record number of radar runs and a record number of kids entered for the kid races. Thanks to all the Drifters who volunteered that day. We could not do this without your help. Mark your calendars for Winterfest 2022, January 22nd.
